Summary
Megan Allen PharmD, BCPS. BCPPS and Mary Soliman, PharmD, BCPPS, CPh will conduct a 1-hour knowledge-based continuing education webinar program on attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders(ADHD). It is imperative that pediatric pharmacists have an established knowledge base to best serve their patients as the treatment of patients with ADHD is based on a multimodal approach that combines medication with specific psychological interventions. Drs Allen and Soliman will help pharmacists navigate the treatment options and how best to serve these patients.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Establish the role of psychotropic agents in the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
2. Compare and contrast updates in stimulants versus non-stimulants drug classes
3. Evaluate the adverse effects of therapy and related concerns to ADHD treatment as long term options
Accreditation:
ACPE logo PPAG has accredited this knowledge-based webinar for 1.0 contact hours (0.10 CEUs) of continuing education credit for pharmacists. UAN # 0180-0000-18-007-H01-P.

BCPPS Recertification Credit is also available for PPAG members if you select that pricing option during registration. Participants will be required to complete an evaluation and pass an exam in order to receive their certificate. Once the exam is passed, participants will receive 1 hour BCPPS credit. BCPPS credit and post-test only available from 10/10/18 to 04/10/19.

The Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. In order to receive credit, participants must register for the program, attend the program, and fill out a post-program survey. Webinar programs are 100% supported through program registration fees and PPAG membership dues, and is not supported by Industry.

Group Pricing: Group pricing is available through online registration for CE only. Groups will need to email Jennifer Chow at jennifer.chow@ppag.org their attendance list with each participants name, email, NABP# and DOB in order to receive credit. Group Pricing is NOT available for BCPPS credit-in order for each person to complete a post-test.
